Succulent Ribs
You want to start this recipe the night before your BBQ. This rub might seem a little simple, but trust me this method of slow cooking ribs with a paprika rub is oh so delicious. It’s all about the paprika. If you like some spiciness, add some red pepper flakes.
Baby Back or Pork Rib Racks
Rub
3 parts paprika 1 part garlic powder
onion powder
salt & pepper to taste
Rinse ribs in water, pat dry with paper towel. Mix paprika and garlic powder with onion powder, salt and pepper to taste. Hand massage rub into the ribs and coat ribs generously with rub. Tightly wrap ribs in cellophane and place in refrigerator overnight. Remove ribs from refrigerator about 1 hour before your grill is ready.
Place ribs on grill or in a rib rack using medium-high indirect heat. Make sure ribs are not over any direct flame or heat. Cook ribs for approx 2 hours (300 degrees) turning once if placed directly on grill. If you desire BBQ sauce, brush on BBQ sauce for last 15 minutes. These ribs are delicious without sauce. I like to serve BBQ sauce as a condiment for anyone that wants it.
